IIFA Awards 2019 Nominations: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Andhadhun Gets Maximum Nominations Followed By Raazi And Padmaavat

The nominations for IIFA Awards 2019 are out and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun is leading the way with nominations in 13 categories! Alia Bhatt's Raazi and Ranveer Deepika's Padmaavat are second in line. IIFA this year is taking place in Mumbai after Nepal's event got cancelled last minute.

The nominations for IIFA 2019 are out. Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun is on a winning spree as the film won big at the 66th National Film Awards which were recently announced in New Delhi. The gripping thriller not only won the Best Hindi Film and Best Adapted Screenplay, but Ayushmann also bagged the Best Actor National Film Award for the film. Now, the nominations for IIFA Awards 2019 have been revealed and Andhadhun is leading the way with maximum nominations in the 20th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. This year the awards are taking place in Mumbai post it's Nepal event got canned at the last minute. 

talking about the nominations, Andhadhun has been nominated in thirteen categories for the IIFA Awards 2019, followed by Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi and Ranveer Singh- Deepika Padukone starrer Padmaavat. Both the films have been nominated in ten categories each.  Other nominations include Ranbir Kapoor’s film Sanju and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho have seven and six nominations respectively.  The nominees for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) include Ayushmann Khurrana  for Andhadhun, Rajkummar Rao for Stree, Ranbir Kapoor for Sanju, Ranveer Singh for Padmaavat and Vicky Kaushal for Raazi.  The nominees for Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) include Alia Bhatt for Raazi, Deepika Padukone for Padmaavat, Neena Gupta for Badhaai Ho, Rani Mukerji for Hichki and Tabu for Andhadhun.


The popular awards will be held in Mumbai in September and to mark its 20th edition, IIFA announced BIG 20 to honour the best among the winners over the glorious past 19 years. IIFA announced five special awards, the nominees for which would include all winners over the last 19 years.
